PDP OGHA Candidate “O’kenny”describes PDP as rescue platform for Ogun people as he welcomes defectors from APC, APM, ADC, other parties
The House of Assembly candidate of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP for Odeda State Constituency in Ogun State, Hon. Odewunmi Kehinde popularly known as O’kenny welcomes members of the opposition parties who defected from their various political platforms to join the PDP ahead of the 2023 general elections.
In a statement signed by the PDP stalwart, he described the move as a welcome development which further shows that PDP remains the only political party capable of restoring the lost glory of the gateway State.
While appreciating the efforts put in place by leadership of the party in the state towards bringing in people with great ideas to ensure victory, Hon. O’kenny said the crowd that witnessed the official welcoming ceremony for the defectors at the party secretariat on Friday was a testament that PDP in Ogun state in coasting to victory.
He therefore called on the new members to join hands with existing structures in the quest to ensure that APC bad governance is totally put to sword and as well open a new chapter of economic progress in the State.
He expressed confidence that with the caliber of people joining the party, PDP will sweep all the contesting seats come 2023 General Elections.
The Ogun PDP Gubernatorial candidate, Hon. Ladi Adebutu and other party leaders while welcoming them into the party, assured them that, they will be carried along for the development of the party and the state as a whole.
