The Special Adviser on Public and Intergovernmental Relations to the Governor of Ondo State, Hon. Princess Kikelomo Ikuomola, has lauded Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa for his purposeful, people-oriented, and development-driven leadership as the state celebrates its 50th anniversary.
In a statement to commemorate Ondo @ 50, Hon. Ikuomola described the Golden Jubilee as a significant moment to reflect on the state’s growth trajectory while acknowledging the leadership steering its present phase of stability and progress.
She noted that Governor Aiyedatiwa’s administration has sustained a strong commitment to infrastructure development, economic expansion, social inclusion, and transparent governance, all of which are repositioning Ondo State for long-term prosperity.
“As Ondo State marks 50 years of existence, it is only fitting to recognise the steady and focused leadership of Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa. His developmental agenda is anchored on continuity, accountability, and genuine concern for the welfare of the people,” she said.
The Special Adviser highlighted key interventions across critical sectors, explaining that the Governor’s emphasis on urban renewal, improved service delivery, youth empowerment, and robust stakeholder engagement has helped restore public confidence and stimulate socio-economic growth across the state.
According to her, the Ondo @ 50 celebration goes beyond ceremonial activities, serving instead as a strategic platform to showcase the state’s developmental achievements, investment prospects, and shared vision under the current administration.
“Ondo at 50 is not just a celebration of our history; it is a clear signal of our readiness for the future. Under Governor Aiyedatiwa’s leadership, the state is consolidating its achievements and laying a solid foundation for sustainable development,” Hon. Ikuomola added.
She further commended the peaceful atmosphere, active citizen participation, and strong intergovernmental collaboration recorded during the anniversary events, describing them as a reflection of the Governor’s inclusive leadership style.
