NUJ, Ogun council Congratulates ACP Muyiwa Adejobi on Re-appointment as Nigerian Police Spokesman
The Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Ogun state council has congratulated ACP Muyiwa Adejobi on his reappointment as the Public Relations Officer of the Nigerian Police Force.
The Chairman of the council, Comrade Wale Olanrewaju in a statement made available to newsmen through the Secretary, Comrade Bunmi Adigun stated that the re-appointment of Adejobi is a welcome development, owing to his professional conducts in it’s first stint at the helms of affair.
Comrade Olanrewaju urged ACP Muyiwa Adejobi to consolidate on his achievements, particularly in entrenching citizen-focused public relations through the media and other specialised community engagements.
The acting Inspector.General of Police, Olukayode Egbetokun, approved the reappointment of Adejobi, through a statement from an Administrative Officer in the Force Public Relations Department, Anjuguri Manza.
The acting IGP noted that the reappointment followed his recent promotion from the rank of chief superintendent of Police to that of ACP.
Adejobi, an alumnus of the University of Ibadan, where he studied Archaeology and Geography (Combined Honours), also holds a Master’s in Peace and Conflict Studies from the same university.
He was the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) in Ogun between 2008 and 2016; PPRO Zone 2 Headquarters, Onikan, Lagos, 2016 and PPRO Lagos State Command between 2020 and 2021.
Mr Adejobi also served as the Deputy Force Public Relations Officer, Force Headquarters, Abuja, in 2021 and very recently was the Force Public Relations Officer before his reappointment.
