Just In: Abducted Ex-FCE Provost, Ajayi, Driver set free days after kidnapped by unknown gunmen 

Informations has it that abductors of Dr. Ayodele Ajayi, the immediate-past Provost of the Federal College of Education (FCE), Osiele in Odeda Local Government Area (LGA) of Ogun have released him and his driver after holding him in captivity for 3 days.

Few days ago, it was reported that Ajayi was abducted with his wife and driver at exactly 7 p.m. along l Ikija village in the Olodo axis of the Abeokuta-Ibadan road.

It was further gathered that Ajayi’s wife was later released by the abductors, while he and his driver were taken away.

A source, who asked for anonymity, told Nigeria Standard that the gunmen have released both of them this evening.
