Hon Omolola Bakre Olanrewaju radiates love of God @40


Hon Omolola Bakre Olanrewaju is a State House of Assembly Aspirant, vying for the assembly seat of Ijebu – Ode state constituency in the forthcoming general elections.
A woman of many giants strides in terms human development, a grassroot politician with an experience of almost a decade in political journey.
Although Hon Omolola Bakre never intended to swerve into politics, always contented with assisting people through her humanitarian foundation which focuses on giving back to the society through various humanitarian aids and assistance with attention tends towards women, girl child and youth development,widows and divorcees, particularly in Ijebu Ode and environs.
But recently, over 1000 beneficiaries of Hon Omolola’s benevolence called on her to throw her hat into the political ring as they all believed that with her kind heart, pedigree and experience,she is capable of changing their fortune and the future of their children in Ijebu Ode state constituency for the better.
Nigeria Standard gathered that members of the Constituency are confident that Hon Omolola Bakre is more than capable of restoring the long lost hope if given chance and they are all ready to support her when the time is ripe.
The UK based politician will be celebrating her 40th birthday anniversary in the next couple of days in Ikeja, the capital city of the center of excellence, Lagos State and because of the love that radiates around her, all her friends, close associates, political bigwigs, celebrities including the downtrodden are leaving no stone unturned to celebrate her.
Nigeria Standard gathered that popular Fuji Musician, King Wasiu Ayinde Marshall, popularly known as Kwam 1 will be on the band stand to thrill guests.
In preparation of the grandest day, she had earlier visited her homestead, Ijebu Ode to extends hands of love to members of her constituency with lots of gifts and empowerment opportunities
Hon Omolola Bakre born in the early 1980’s studied Broadcast Journalism from Nigeria institute of journalism Ogba Lagos. She got Higher National Diploma in Marketing from the polytechnic of Ibadan, and went further to study Economics in Lagos State University.
Bakre had a degree in Housing and social work from South Bank University London, U.K. and presently studying BA in mental health nursing at university of Essex.
Bakare is a servant, politician, wife and a mother. Het passion is to make impact in governance through sponsorship of bills that touch the lives of the downtrodden populace.
Bakre has been touching lives through her pet project tagged Lola Bakre Helping Hand Foundation.
LBHF is on a mission to provide free education to young underprivileged children by building schools and equip them with necessary materials to make their education easy, also to empower widows with necessary skills for them to be self employed.
During an interview with the Assembly aspirant, she said, “as we are on plan to make our missions feasible, you should know we are not just full of words as we have taken lots of bold steps, extending our blessing to some primary schools in Ogun State by providing them with free written materials.
“Planning on paying a reasonable amount of students school fees, also we have been empowering widows and on a plan to build a place where we can properly equip them with different skills. We are not presently where we wish to be because of lack of fund but we are better than where we started and putting all things in place for a brighter future.”
