Birthday Celebration: Prophet Samuel Adebayo Ojo ‘Authority’ Marks New Age, Celebrated for Ministry of Prayer and Deliverance
Prophet Samuel Adebayo Ojo, popularly known as “Authority,” and General Overseer of Freedom Revival International Ministry, is being celebrated on his birthday for his years of Christian ministry, tireless prayer programmes and commitment to what he describes as a divine assignment to bring hope, deliverance and spiritual restoration to people.
Prophet Ojo has built a growing ministry with branches in Ibadan, Lagos, Akure and Abuja, where worshippers regularly gather for prayer, revival and counselling programmes.
One remarkable feature of his ministry is his demanding schedule. Despite the distance between the various branches, the cleric frequently travels from one city to another in an effort to personally minister to members and participate in programmes across the ministry.
For the man popularly called Authority, the demanding schedule is part of his calling.
He has repeatedly maintained that his greatest joy is seeing men and women who come to the ministry troubled and seeking divine intervention leave with renewed faith, hope and testimonies.
According to him, his continuous involvement in prayer and revival programmes is driven by his conviction that providing spiritual guidance and praying with people facing difficult circumstances form an important part of his assignment on earth.
Prophet Ojo is particularly known among his followers for his emphasis on prayer, deliverance and spiritual warfare. His ministry also distributes an anointing oil popularly tagged “Back to Sender Oil” free of charge, which the church presents as part of its prayer ministry rather than a commercial product.
Over the years, worshippers and followers of Freedom Revival International Ministry have shared testimonies which they attribute to prayers and spiritual guidance received through the ministry. Supporters describe Prophet Ojo as a minister blessed with unusual spiritual insight, vision and a passion for helping people seek solutions through prayer and faith in God.
His commitment is perhaps best demonstrated by his willingness to maintain an intensive ministerial schedule even while travelling internationally.
Prophet Ojo is currently in Canada but is expected to return on Saturday ahead of the ministry’s Sunday service in Abuja, once again demonstrating his determination to remain personally connected with the congregation despite his travels.
As Prophet Samuel Adebayo Ojo celebrates another year, members, friends, associates and well-wishers are celebrating a preacher whose life has become closely associated with persistent prayer, revival and service.
For “Authority,” however, the birthday celebration is also another opportunity to recommit himself to what he believes God has called him to do: pray for people, preach the Gospel, strengthen the discouraged and point those seeking freedom and restoration to Jesus Christ.
