APC Fixes March 24 for Screening of National Office Aspirants

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has scheduled Tuesday, March 24, 2026, for the screening of aspirants seeking to contest for national offices ahead of its convention.
In a notice issued by the party’s Aspirants’ Screening Committee, all individuals who have purchased and submitted their Expression of Interest and Nomination Forms were invited to participate in the exercise.
The screening is set to take place at the Transcorp Hilton in Abuja, with proceedings expected to begin at 9 a.m. Aspirants are required to appear in person and present all relevant documents for verification.
The committee emphasized that attendance is mandatory, stressing that the screening is a crucial step in the process leading to the party’s national convention, where new national officers will be elected.
The notice, signed by the committee’s secretary, Isa Yuguda, also provided contact details for further enquiries, urging aspirants to comply fully with the guidelines.
The exercise forms part of APC’s broader preparations for its 2026 National Convention, a key event expected to shape the party’s leadership structure ahead of future elections.
