Davido Brings Oriadè Home With Three-Night Lagos Residency

Afrobeats star David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, is set to return to Lagos for a three-night residency at the National Theatre, Iganmu, in December.
The singer announced “Oriadè: The Residency”, scheduled to take place from December 17 to 19, 2026, in a post shared on his social media platforms.
The event will see Davido perform at the National Theatre for three consecutive nights as he celebrates 15 years in the music industry.
“LAGOS!!! We bringing it HOME! 15 years of madness and there’s nowhere I’d rather be,” the singer wrote in announcing the residency.
The announcement was accompanied by footage of Davido performing to large audiences, as well as scenes from Lagos and the National Theatre.
Davido to showcase ‘Oriadè’
The residency takes its name from Davido’s latest album, Oriadè, which was released in July 2026.
The Lagos shows are expected to feature performances from the album alongside songs from across his career. The residency will mark the first live performance of the project in Nigeria, according to the Voice of Nigeria.
TheCable reported that the album contains 13 tracks and features collaborations with artists including Black Sherif, Mayorkun, FOLA, Leon Thomas, Aya Nakamura and Llona.
Three nights at National Theatre
Davido’s residency will take place at the newly remodelled National Theatre in Lagos from December 17 through December 19.
The event coincides with the singer’s 15th anniversary in music. Davido first gained widespread attention with his breakout hit “Dami Duro” and has since released several successful projects, including A Good Time, A Better Time, Timeless and 5ive.
The residency also comes during Lagos’ busy December entertainment period, with several major concerts and events expected to take place across the city.
Tickets to go on sale
According to The Hype Magazine, tickets for the three-night residency are scheduled to go on sale on September 25, 2026, with presale access available to members of Davido’s 30BG community.
Davido’s announcement has added another major event to Lagos’ December entertainment calendar, with fans set to see the singer bring his latest project and catalogue to the National Theatre across three nights.
