May Day 2026: Dr. Olamide Davies Talabi Celebrates Ogun Workers, Promises Inclusive Representation and Democratic Dividends 
As Nigeria commemorates the 2026 Workers’ Day, Senatorial Aspirant for Ogun Central, Hon. Dr. Olamide Davies Talabi, has extended warm greetings and deep appreciation to the hardworking men and women of Ogun Central Senatorial District and Ogun State at large.
In her goodwill message, Dr. Talabi described workers as the backbone of society and the driving force behind economic growth and development. She commended their resilience, dedication, and unwavering commitment to duty despite prevailing economic challenges, noting that their contributions remain vital to the progress and stability of Ogun State and Nigeria.
She acknowledged the pressing need to improve workers’ welfare, create more employment opportunities, and ensure fair and dignified working conditions. According to her, “Our workers deserve not just recognition, but meaningful support through policies that protect their rights, improve their livelihoods, and give them a stronger voice in governance.”
Dr. Talabi further emphasized her passion for service and people-centered leadership, adding that if given the opportunity to represent Ogun Central in the Red Chamber, she would work tirelessly to ensure that the people enjoy the true dividends of democracy. “I am committed to championing policies that will uplift our workers, empower our youths, support our entrepreneurs, and bring sustainable development to our communities. Representation must translate into real impact, and that is the promise I bring,” she stated.
She reaffirmed her dedication to inclusive governance, stressing that her aspiration is rooted in the desire to serve with integrity, compassion, and accountability. She also called for stronger collaboration between government institutions, the private sector, and labour unions to build a more prosperous and equitable society.
