The Secretary, United States Chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Dr. Olamide Davies Talabi has commended Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, and the leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ogun State for their steadfast support of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s economic reform policies.
Her remarks followed a major town hall gathering where the Ogun APC formally endorsed President Tinubu for a second term in office.
The endorsement, she said, signals strong confidence in the President’s leadership and the transformative direction of his administration.
Talabi noted that while President Tinubu won Ogun State in the 2023 general election, the party is now working toward what she described as a sweeping and overwhelming victory in 2027.
According to her, the unity displayed by party stakeholders across the state reflects renewed determination to consolidate on past successes.
She expressed gratitude to Governor Abiodun for his developmental achievements and consistent efforts in advancing Ogun State.
She also applauded the state APC structure for its loyalty, organization, and commitment to strengthening the party’s base.
“The impressive turnout at the town hall meeting clearly shows the acceptance and growing popularity of the APC in Ogun State,” she said.
“The enthusiasm and strong presence of supporters, particularly from Ogun Central Senatorial District, demonstrate that the people are fully aligned with the party’s vision.”
A senatorial aspirant from Ogun Central and the current Secretary of the APC in the United States of America, Talabi voiced confidence in the long-term benefits of President Tinubu’s reforms.
She expressed optimism that by the end of his eight-year tenure, Nigeria would regain much of the progress it had lost over several decades.
Describing the President’s policies as strategic and globally competitive, she said ongoing infrastructure and economic projects would reposition Nigeria as a leading destination for foreign investment.
Talabi highlighted the rapid progress of the Coastal Road project and other major developments across the country, noting that the speed and scale of execution reflect serious commitment at the highest level of leadership.
She added that President Tinubu’s continuous engagement with global leaders is strengthening Nigeria’s international partnerships and laying the foundation for a more robust and resilient economy.
Talabi reaffirmed her dedication to mobilizing support for the APC in Ogun State and emphasized that unity and sustained commitment to reforms remain key to delivering greater national prosperity.
