Emirship Tussle : APC, FG trying to disrupt Kano peace mechanisms – Kwakwanso

The National Leader and presidential candidate of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), Senator Rabi’u Musa Kwankwaso, has raised the alarm, accusing the All Progressive Congress (APC)-led Federal Government of attempting to foster a new generation of Boko Haram terrorists and insurgents in Kano State.
Kwankwaso voiced his concerns in response to the current developments in Kano, where federal security agencies, tasked with maintaining peace, law, and order, are reportedly supporting the deposed Emir of Kano, Aminu Ado Bayero.
He asserted that the people of Kano would resist any attempts to undermine the state’s legitimate authority.
“We have mass followership because people believe in us; we are pro-people, and the NNPP administration is determined to serve them wherever they vote for it,” Kwankwaso declared.
He emphasised that they would not stand by while enemies of the state attempt to disrupt the peaceful co-existence of Kano.
“We shall do everything possible to support the governor to succeed. I am happy that he is not distracted and is focused on achieving his goals,” he added.
Kwankwaso further accused certain individuals from Kano, whom he described as mentally unstable and enemies of the state, of advising the Federal Government on initiating a state of emergency in Kano.
He condemned this as “madness of the highest order” and assured that the peace-loving and committed people of Kano would resist such moves.
