Akute residents lauds Gov. Abiodun over the Appointment of Hon. Adijat as Commissioner


A group of Akute indigenes in Ifo Local Government Area of Ogun State under the aegis of Akute concerned Citizens have expressed their sincere appreciation the Ogun state Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun over the appointment the appointment of a former member of the Ogun State House of Assembly, Hon. Adijat Adeleye-Oladapo as Commissioner for Culture and Tourism in the State.
The group expressed their gratitude during a congratulatory visit to the Commissioner at her Oke-Mosan Office in Abeokuta, the Ogun State Capital,
Speaking on behalf of the group, Honourable Lekan Soyemi while acknowledging the competency of Hon. Adijat Adeleye-Oladapo to place the State’s culture and Tourism Sector in an enviable position and for economic growth lauded the road infrastructural projects embarked upon by the Governor Abiodun led administration in Akute area describing it as a welcome development and another jinx broken in the Community.
Hon. Soyemi also disclosed that the appointment of Hon. Adijat Adeleye-Oladapo has opened the community to greater development as she is the first person from Ifo Constituency II that would be appointed as a Commissioner abd member of the state’s Executive Council.
Responding, Hon. Adeleye-Oladapo advised his guests to continue to maintain peace and orderliness in Akute and make themselves a proud indigene of the community, adding that to whom much is given, much is expected.
She also charged them to remain united, adding that unity of purpose is one of the prerequisites to enjoy the dividends of democracy from the Government.
In a related development, the Commissioner who also met with the Association of Local Government Women leader in the State admonished them on the need to support Governor Abiodun’s second term agenda in good light.

The Commissioner also received among others, her counterpart in the Youth and Sports Ministry, Dr. Kehinde Hacco.
