2023: Tola Banjo Giant Group organizes special interdenominational prayer session for Ladi Adebutu, others

Ahead of the commencement of the 2023 general elections campaign activities across all elective position, a special interdenominational prayer session was organized by a political group under the aegis of Giant group of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP in Ogun State led by a Former Deputy Speaker Ogun State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Tola Banjo at his Igbeba Ijebu-Ode residence in Ogun East Senatorial District of the State.

The meeting had in attendance religious leaders both of Islamic and Christian faith, representatives of all political groups domiciled in the opposition party, leaders of the PDP both the old ones and the newly defectors from the rulling All Progressives Congress, APC as well as candidates across elective positions under the platform of the PDP in the senatorial district.

It was a platform to offer prayers of interdenominational faith and belief for all candidates of the opposition party to ensure all round victory at the poll.

Conducting a special prayer, citing the book of Daniel chapter 3 verse 25, Apostle Okunnuga of the C&S church, Ijebu-Ode, expressed optimism that with sincerity of purpose displayed by the group led by Tola Banjo has shown that victory is in sight.

Also towing similar path, Fadilat Sheik Alawiye Lateef encouraged the group to hold fast to their chord of faith in Allah, adding that only Him can fix His chosen one to desired post and with the sign he had seen, Allah is solidly behind them.

Leaders at the forum admonished members to take go back to their respective wards and work towards ensuring victory at the poll.

Addressing the gathering, the Giant group Leader, Rt. Hon. Tola Banjo expressed satisfaction at the turn out of members, noting that if with the attended number of people go all out and spread the gospel of the need to unsit the APC led government in Ogun State, then victory is assured.

He called on all to continue to brainstorm and seek ways to reconcile aggrieved members and return them back to the folds to actualize the mission to rescue Ogun state from the dark clouds hovering around the state as occasioned the by APC led government.

The gathering was put together to offer special prayers for the victory of PDP Gubernatorial candidate in Ogun State, Hon. Ladi Adebutu, his running mate, Hon. Abdulkabir Akinlade as well as all other candidates across elective positions ahead of the 2023 poll.
