Eid-el-kabir : Ogun Commissioner for Agric, Dr Odedina felicitates with Muslims, harps on peaceful co-existence among all


The Ogun state Honourable Commissioner for Agriculture, Dr. Adeola Odedina has charged Muslims in Ogun state and Nigeria at large to work towards ensuring that the Nigeria project must not fail.
In a congratulatory message to mark this year’s Ed-el Kabir celebration, the Certified Master Trainer in Agricultural Value Chains urged Muslims to use the occasion to pray for peace and success of the nation.
According to Dr. Odedina “our existence as a country is God’ ordained. We must entrust its success onto him. This celebration is another opportunity to pray for the strengthening of good neighborliness and nation building, through sacrifice and selfless service”.
Dr. Odedina opined that for Nigeria to realize its potentials as a nation, Nigerians of all religious persuasions must work collectively, but consciously, and submit to common religious doctrine of being our brother’s keeper.
According to the him, “this year’s Eid-el-kabir celebration provides another opportunity for us to reflect on the essence of sacrifice and humility as fulcrums for the promotion of harmonious relationship in our polity”.
He therefore encouraged the good people of Ogun State to continue to support the Dapo Abiodun led government in it bid to take Ogun to a greater heights particularly in the area of economic development through the various agricultural value chains and other developmental policies as well as programmes of the current administration
