PDP Primaries : O’kenny congratulates Atiku, wants him to carry other aspirants along
The candidate for the Odeda State House of Assembly in Ogun State on the platform of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, Hon. Odewunmi Kehinde popularly known as O’kenny has described as the best thing that could happen to Nigeria and Nigerians at this critical time, the emergence of Former Vice President, Atiku Abubarkar as the main opposition Party’s standard bearer in the 2023 general elections.
O’kenny in a congratulatory message said, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar’s strong conviction to rebuild the Nigerian state is never in doubt as his love for the unity and corporate existence of the country is unshaken.
Hon. Odewunmi also commended the 2022 PDP Special Convention Committee for successfully conducting the primary election.
“That our national leader, Alhaji Atiku submitted himself to the people and people’s power had prevailed, adding that his commitment to democracy, non-violent electoral process, nation-building, loyalty to the party and party supremacy were particularly remarkable”.
He said that all other aspirants who also contested, should be commended for exercising their democratic franchise peacefully.
He therefore appealed the presidential candidate to extend a hand of fellowship to those who vied for the ticket along with him in the interest of the party and the Nation at large.
