COVID-19, Nigeria High Commission closes operations for ten days…..

As officials goes on isolation…..
In adherence with the covid-19 regulations as well as safety protocols in line with the rules and regulations of the host country, the immigration section of the Nigeria High Commission, London has closed down for the next ten days.
At a meeting between the head of immigration section and two other officials at the home office, the commission noted that the decision becomes imperative in order to observe mandatory isolation of those who were in contact with the affected officials.
The Commission further stated that covid test was administered on them and one of them tested positive to covid-19.
The affected officer was immediately isolated while other officials who tested negative will also isolate for the next ten days.
In response to this challenge, the mission embarked on testing to all officials of the mission afterwhich another official tested positive.
While the High Commission regrets any inconvenience that this may have caused, it solicits the cooperation of the general public.
