2023: O’kenny holds strategy meeting with party stakeholders, assures constituents of better and qualitative representation
The House of Assembly candidate of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP for Odeda State Constituency in the forthcoming general elections, Hon. Odewunmi Kehinde popularly known as O’kenny has promised members of his constituency to run a people oriented programmes aside from championing life changing bills if given the mandate.
O’kenny stated this at a strategic meeting held with party stakeholders in Opeji ward in Odeda local government area of Ogun state ahead of the commencement of electioneering campaign.
Referencing the increasing acceptance of PDP nationwide, he advised party stakeholders to reciprocate it with electorate-centred policies and programmes in campaign strategies as the party goes into campaign proper in few weeks time.
O’kenny also used the opportunity to launched his campaign strategy which he tagged as “Operation win your polling booth” which centred on doing everything possible in positioning the party for victory come 2023.
This he said was one way the party could show its sincerity of redeeming the people from the tyrannical governments of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
“In line with party’s objectives, we have a responsibility of explaining our manifestos to the people, he said.
He also urged party faithful to go back to their different constituencies and let their subjects understand the importance of collecting their Permanent Voter’s Cards in readiness for the elections.
