Xmas : NATCOM Ag.DG Felicitates with Nigerians, wants christians to pray for the Nation

The Acting Director General of the National Commission for the Coordination and Control of the Proliferation of Small Arms, Ammunition, Light Weapons, Chemical Weapons, and Pipeline Vandalism (NATCOM),Otunba Dr. Adejare Rewane Adegbenro has rejoiced with Nigerians, especially Christians, on the occasion of this year’s Christmas.

In a congratulatory message personally signed by the Acting DG, he said the Christmas period calls for sober reflection even as he enjoined Christians to pray for the country amidst challenges.

Ambassador Adejare said the character of Jesus Christ, who is the main reason for the celebrations, should reflect in the life of every Nigerians.

He noted that the period also calls for unity of purpose among Nigerians, urging the citizens to be their brother’s keeper at all times.

While noting that Nigeria is passing through a lot at the moment but that with the prayers of the citizens and their support, the leaders would be able to provide good direction.

He also admonished prospective personnel of NATCOM to keep alive adding that all hands are on deck towards actualizing the the birth of the commission which according to him is capable of not only addressing youth unemployment but also targeted at addressing insecurity.

“On behalf of my family and officers of NATCOM, I wish to sincerely congratulate all our Christian brothers and sisters on the celebration of the feast of Christmas, which marks the birth of Jesus Christ.

“As you celebrate, continue to pray for the nation and reflect on the life of Jesus Christ, his humility, sacrifice, love for neighbour and loyalty to God,” he said.
