So Safe Corps Arrest Man For Stealing Motorcycle In Ogun
The men of Ogun State So-Safe Corps in has successful arrested man, Zeniteni Sojineh who stole a motorcycle in Ilaro area of Ogun state.
The command has also recovered the stolen motorcycle.
This was disclosed by the director of information and public relations, ACC Moruf Yusuf in a statement which was made available to newsmen in Abeokuta.
The statement reads, ”On Monday July 20,2020, the commandant of the So-Safe Corps ordered Ilaro Area Command of the Corps to investigate a stolen motorbike reported to the Corps Area Command at Ilaro that was stolen where it was parked in a farmland at Ileba Area , Ilaro, Yewa South and to ensure that the crime suspect be apprehended under 24hrs with the stolen Motorbike.
”The Officers and Men of the Corps in the Command sprang into action having received the instruction and this led to the visit of the scene of the crime by a well trained special squad of the Corps to the farmland at Ileba Area,Ilaro which is situated at Yewa-South Local Government together with the victim of the crime Mr Joseph Micheal who pointed to the team where the bike was parked.
”Surprisingly , those who have the mind to assist security agencies among the community people provided useful information that assisted the Corps but to discover that one of those engaged in searching for the Motorbike , Mr Zeniteni Sojineh who was found out to be the culprit who perpetrated the crime .
”Zeniteni the alleged crime suspect later voluntarily confessed that the Motorbike with the registration Number QE256LAR , Engine Number IE50IMB595181,CHASIS NO: BE11G057482 was stolen by him and kept in a farmland at Ahmadiyya Area, Idogo, Yewa South where he covered the Motorbike with grass.
Meanwhile, On Tuesday , July, 21st, 2020 the crime suspect was transferred to the Nigeria Police ,Ilaro Divisional Police Headquarters for further investigation and likely prosecution .
