Security Expert, Adegbenro Honoured With Global Social Impact Visionary Award For Humanitarian Work In Finland
Peace advocate and security expert, Otunba (Dr.) Adejare Rewane Adegbenro, has been honoured with the 2025 Prestigious Global Social Impact Visionary Distinction Award at the 3rd edition of the Prestigious Global Awards and Nordic Africa Business Summit in Helsinki, Finland.
With the theme “Celebrating Change Makers, Changing the Narratives,” the event celebrated individuals whose work continues to shape diplomacy, peace, and global development.
Otunba Adegbenro, widely recognised for his humanitarian efforts and diplomatic engagements, was also formally inaugurated as a Patron, International Liaison Director, and Protocol Officer of Ceci Educare Oy. His appointment reflects the organisation’s confidence in his ability to strengthen Africa–Nordic relations and promote cultural diplomacy on the international stage.
The summit also witnessed the unveiling of the first Prestigious Global Celebrity & Elite Business Magazine (Nordic Edition) with Adegbenro as the inaugural cover— a recognition of his influence in diplomacy, culture, and social impact. The magazine also features the Olowu of Owu and his wife, Olori Ameenah Matemilola.
Speaking after receiving his award, Adegbenro reaffirmed his commitment to advancing humanitarian work and fostering international collaboration, while appreciating President Bola Tinubu for his efforts towards making Nigeria a safe haven and preferred economic corridor of Africa.
