PDP Senatorial Candidate, Aderinokun flags off O’kenny campaign logistics, Materials, charges Ogun not to reinforce Failure in the coming elections
Ahead of the commencement of its campaign activities, the People’s Democratic Party, PDP Senatorial Candidate for Ogun Central Senatorial District, Olumide Aderinokun has officially flagged off campaign materials and other logistics meant to prosecute the campaign of the PDP House of Assembly candidate for Odeda State Constituency, Hon. Odewunmi Kehinde Hassan (O’kenny).
The event which took place at the O’kenny campaign Secretariat, Somoorin, Abeokuta had in attendance scores of party faithful, loyalists and Party Leaders in Odeda Local Government Area and beyond.
Shortly after the flagging off Ceremony, Olumide Aderinokun addressed people across the ten wards of Odeda calling on them to deviate from the norms of bad governance as inflicted on the people by the rulling All Progressives Congress, APC, this is as he also promised to tackle myriads of challenges confronting the senatorial district headlong as well as improved infrastructure a across the six local government areas.
He also canvassed support for the presidential candidate of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP Alhaji Atiku Abubakar and the gubernatorial candidate of the party in Ogun State, Hon. Ladi Adebutu.
According to him, “It is very sad that today, we have various issues confronting Nigeria-issues of insecurity, economy and dilapidated infrastructure, under PDP government all these will be fixed because as a country we have all the resources to take care of ourselves.”
Earlier on arrival at the popular Alalubosa and Mammy Markets an Hausa Dominated communities in Eleweran area , large crowd of supporters of the party and its candidates, besieged the street to receive Olumide Aderinokun, Soyemi Coker and Hon. Odewunmi where the trio urged the people to vote for the party’s candidates in the forthcoming general election.
Speaking to supporters of the party, the candidates said the PDP remained the party to beat in the forthcoming elections, noting that Nigerians are tired of the failures of the All Progressives Congress.
Representatives of the communities having tabled some of their developmental requests which was unanimously approved by the candidates promised to support the People’s Democratic Party, PDP Candidates across all elective positions in the coming elections.
