Less than 3 months after a former deputy Rector Of Moshood Abiola Polytechnic (MAPOLY), Dr Lai Oso, died, in a ghastly motor accident, another deputy Rector, Dr Lekan Famiyiwa, has been confirmed dead.
Famiyiwa, a former director, Student Affairs, of the prestigious institution, died on Friday in his sleep.
Famuyiwa popularly known as Baba Fancy, died at the age 72 this afternoon in his Abeokuta residence.
According to a family source, the deceased was so lively on Friday afternoon that he was still active on his social media handle -Whatsapp-beyond mid day.
Famuyiwa was a Statistician at the Department of Accountancy before bowing out in 2020. He’s also a prominent member of the Abeokuta Club, before his death and an alumnus of the University of Lagos.
