FAAN Boss Outlines Path to Elevate Nigeria’s Airports to Africa’s Top Standard

She emphasized that achieving this goal requires sustained investment in modern infrastructure, improved passenger experience, and the adoption of global best practices in airport management. According to her, upgrading facilities and ensuring efficient operations are critical to competing with leading airports across the continent.
Kuku also stressed the importance of strengthening safety and security standards, noting that compliance with international aviation regulations remains a top priority. She added that staff training and capacity development are essential to delivering world-class services.
The FAAN boss further pointed out that collaboration with private sector players would help accelerate transformation in the aviation sector. She explained that partnerships can drive innovation, enhance service delivery, and attract more investment into airport development.
