Ex-lawmaker, Tola Banjo Condemns Owo Catholic church killings, describes it as senseless


A former Deputy Speaker, Ogun state House of Assembly and Frontline All Progressives Congress, APC politician in Ogun state, Rt. Hon. Tola Banjo has condemned the heinous killing of worshippers on Sunday at the St Francis Catholic Church, Owa-luwa Street, Owo Kingdom, in Ondo State describing the act as senseless and inhumane.
The ex-lawmaker speaking through his Media office, condemned in totality the gruesome killings of the innocent souls that left their various homes to worship God.
Hon. Banjo described the incident as sacrilegious, wondering why people take delight in unnecessary bloodletting.
He extend condolences to families of the victims, the Catholic mission in Nigeria, body of Christ in general, the people and government of Ondo state, calling on security operatives to raise their game and fish out perpetrators.
Recall that not less than 25 worshippers were killed by herdsmen who attacked the church at Owo.
